It was super insightful and a symptom led approach to understanding our body over the regular hormone led books. Unbeknownst to me, I have already been bio-hacking for some time with some of the dietary tips Davinia talks about, and it's nice to have an explanation of how and why this works.

Everyone’s entitled to what works for their body, but I personally think not biting anything until the evening is extremely unhealthy and can ruin your relationship with food. Particularly fascinating learning about ingredients in food and even ‘healthy bars’ and vegan burgers which are super anti inflammatory and not great for you. I left it a few weeks before thinking, "Come in, be open-minded and give it another shot, you might learn something ' alas I did not. If you didn't already know that sugar, alcohol and ultra processed foods are bad for you, you may find this book enlightening. In this book, Davinia breaks down how best to optimise ALL our hormones and delves into how they can impact our weight, focus, sleep and energy. This book is written in a way that makes the information easily makes sense without loads of technical jargon.
