I have already gotten to the point in this book (about chapter 4) that I’ve determined I can only take this book in small doses. It's odd that Tom Bower has promoted his Meghan Markle biography the way he has, often gleefully extolling it as something that will “bring her down.

In both versions, their first experience with Meghan is someone who wants to kill them with kindness, eager to please and contribute. While this is not the kind of book I would normally read, I was annoyed to hear from American friends that it was being ‘suffocated’ in the USA by the Sussexes’ PR firm to protect their ‘brand’. at the beginning I was a supporter of Megan at the end I saw her for what she is a money grabbing selfish lady who will do anything and use anyone to get what she wants.
I did notice than apart from the odd snippet none of his oldest friends have contributed to this book. And the inner battle that ensues when love, or their own conscience, gets in the way of that revenge? It seems like such a waste of what could have been a wonderful change and lifelong opportunities for good.
