About this deal

Sammon that was produced to promote the film at conventions and other PR events in preparation for its initial theatrical release. One of the things I really liked about this version is how focused it is on the central characters of this particular half of the story. tracks in recent memory, full of thundering low frequencies that will leave your floorboards vibrating in ecstasy. As the two families clash on Arrakis, Duke Atreides' son Paul (Kyle MacLachlan, in his screen debut) finds himself at the centre of an intergalactic war and an ancient prophecy that could change the galaxy forever.

Home Entertainment's Dune (2021) remained on top of both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its third week. For more about Dune and the Dune Blu-ray release, see Dune Blu-ray Review published by Jeffrey Kauffman on September 6, 2021 where this Blu-ray release scored 4. It’s the real deal and arguably the best looking Blu-ray we’ve seen since the Game of Thrones 4K package. We’re a long way from streams looking as good as physical media, but they do look good enough in most cases, making it that much harder for Blu-ray and any possible future physical forms to maintain their position. I was intrigued then to see if the film would hold up on the small screen, with this 4K Blu-ray release from Warner Bros Home Entertainment. film role, essaying the slow metamorphosis of Paul from a starry-eyed youth to a gritty and determined freedom fighter. One element is that it's official that there will be at least one if not more sequels in this epic Dune universe.

opting for the surround track, which to my ears was at least extremely similar if not outright identical to the track on the Universal version. The UK branch of Universal Studios will release six films directed by David Lynch: Eraserhead (1977), Dune (1984), Blue Velvet (1986), Wild at Heart (1990), Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (1992), and Lost Highway (1997). of the adaptation and production process, pairing finished clips with early test footage, interviews, and candid on-set material. Denis Villeneuve had already proven himself to be a great sci-fi director with Arrival and Blade Runner 2049, yet the palpable sense of awe throughout Dune is something else, from the sweeping shots of Arrakis, Caladan and Giedi Prime to the immense scale of the sandworms, looming over Paul like some kind of alien god. Herbert's novel is a laboriously constructed piece that literally creates a whole new universe populated by a variety of interesting characters. Home Entertainment's Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms topped the Blu-ray chart, pushing Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard to second place. Details are obviously a tad softer than the 4K, but otherwise, they’re on par with the standard 2-D Blu-ray.
